App Store downloads led by free apps; Games making bank!

Revealing the bias towards younger users, mobile ad group Medialets has tracked iTunes' App Store and finds that free apps rule the download charts, but that game developers are thriving in the paid world and that some developers should already be successful.

Doctors reattach teen surfer's arm

Doctors said Tuesday that they were able to reattach the severed left arm of a 14-year-old surfer struck by an incoming dory boat along Oregon's northern coast.But it may be months before doctors know whether Cole Ortega of Bend will regain use of the arm, which was severed by the boat's propeller just above the elbow and below the biceps.

Hiking with the wife today

So last night I went and saw Drill Bit Taylor at northern lights theater in salem. It was ok, Owen Wilson was the one redeeming factor.

Then today I took work off to spend time with my wife. We decide to go hiking at silver creek falls, i needed gas so we stopped here in aumsville.

Obama Draws Record Crowd Of 75,000 In Portland

Sen. Barack Obama has seen his share of large crowds over the last 15 months, but his campaign said they have not approached the numbers gathered along the waterfront here right now. This is awesome, good job for Oregon for showing strength. Let's hope that the nation can come together behind Obama, I feel that he would make a great president.
